After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot named Roz is stranded on a desert island. To survive the harsh conditions, Roz bonds with the island's animals and takes care of an orphaned baby goose. Lupita Nyong'o talks to writer-director Chris Sanders about the important credits and time spent together filming The Wild Robot. According to writer Peter Brown, the inspiration for "The Wild Robot" came from a sketch of a robot in a tree. He then asked the question, "What would an intelligent robot do in the middle of nowhere?" When the fox enters the cabin, the moose at the door grunts, but the sound effect used is a recording of a bear. This beautifully animated film goes beyond being simply family-friendly; it is an emotional and thought-provoking experience. From its stunning visuals to its heartwarming story, “Wild Robot” delivers powerful messages about empathy, connection, and what it means to belong. The film effortlessly combines lighthearted moments with deeper emotional themes, making it an instant classic in my eyes. I was an emotional wreck (in the best possible way) for most of the time, completely immersed in the story and the experiences of the characters. It's rare to find an animated film that moves you so deeply, and I can't recommend it enough. Wild Robot is a true 10/10, and I can't wait to see how it moves others as much as it did me.
