Synopsis

Simba, now king of the Pride Lands, is determined for his cub to follow in his footsteps as the origins of his late father Mufasa are explored. James Earl Jones, who played Mufasa from 1994 to 2019, passed away at the age of 93 on September 9, 2024. When offered the role, he declined, and this film is dedicated to his memory.
