Sure it's creepy, but then again, the author is very poetic about bringing out ancient curses and such..or tragic love, human nature.. I was swept away by everything, not in the first episode, then I was intrigued, and I hope you let the alchemy / magic happen as I did. Let a beautiful cloak envelop you in its magical story.
Some "Game of Thrones" fever
It all comes back to history and memory and how unbelievable and tangled they are and what we make of them. I have an urge to reread the novel, right now! The difference is, I can't read the original, only a translation.
