Then the movie really becomes something else
A cleverly written and witty script with a sweet story really kept me hooked in the first half of the film. which I appreciated, but it's ultimately not what I was expecting or honestly really wanting.
But Mikey Madison's performance was one of the most compelling and entertaining I've seen in a long time
The pacing was definitely too slow for a bit too long and I felt like the movie lost momentum for a while. The very last scene is exactly what I wanted between two characters, but another main character was totally demonized, which I wish wasn't the case.
For her sake alone, I'd recommend checking this out!
