The film follows two of New York's most notorious crime bosses, Frank Costello (Robert De Niro) and Vito Genovese (De Niro), as they battle for control of the city's streets. The two were once best friends, but petty jealousies and a whole lot of betrayal put them on a deadly collision course that will shape the Mafia (and America) forever.
